Hi Wooshin, Do you have any updates on this issue ? River already implemented AMP i2c driver on VS-550 and check it is working well now. |

Hi, Jacky and River We checked I2S data between VS-550 output and A113X output. We found data was missed from VS-550 output. Please refer to attached Waveform. Hi Lonnie, I use the latest 0421 image to test and still found a lot of I2S data gaps from A113X output comparing with VS550 I2S output. In the attached picture, Channel 5 is the A113X I2S data, Channel2 is the VS550 I2S data. You can see a lot of gaps in Channel5. Do you use a fixed frequency tone to test? Hi Wooshin, In today's meeting, ALT requests a SWAN test image for testing NUGU. You can use the SWAN image at http://altserver01.iptime.org/release_by_fxn/swan_test_image/New_AMP/0423_Nugu_test/ It is a v524 image, please remember to change the server list setting. Also, this image also includes the Wellang AMP drivers. If you want to use New AMP driver, please do following: 1.Main board needs to remove R2981 resister to avoid short V3.3 to GND. 2.You need to unplug LED sub-board to avoid I2S address conflict (LED has same I2C address as one Wellang AMP IC). |

New AMP board I2S gap issue is caused by bad I2S signal quality. The bad quality of I2S signal will cause A113X having some actions to reset capture and restart capture I2S. Our HW already add a hardware solution by buffer IC in DVT3 design. When we tested the buffer IC in DVT2, we can not see the I2S audio gap. So, we think this issue can be closed. |
